Every job follows the same five steps. Each one shows what you do, what we do, and — the point of all this — what you feel afterwards.
STEP / 01Tell us what is on your plate
- You do
- Describe the job in a sentence or two. No jargon needed.
- We do
- Listen, ask a few sharp questions, and confirm what “done” looks like.
- You’ll feel
- Heard — and already a little lighter.
STEP / 02Get a clear quote
- You do
- Read it, ask anything, say yes or no.
- We do
- Put scope, price and timeline in writing before any work starts.
- You’ll feel
- No guesswork. No surprises later.
STEP / 03Hand it over
- You do
- Send the files or links. Then get on with your day.
- We do
- Take ownership of the job from this point on.
- You’ll feel
- It is off your desk and off your mind.
STEP / 04Follow along without chasing
- You do
- Nothing, unless you want to.
- We do
- Update you on the rhythm we agreed, before you think to ask.
- You’ll feel
- In the loop, never in the dark.
STEP / 05Review and receive
- You do
- Tell us what to adjust. We revise until you are happy.
- We do
- Deliver final files in formats you can actually use.
- You’ll feel
- Done. Properly done.
Why the steps are in this order
The quote comes before the work because surprise is the most expensive feeling in freelancing. The handover comes before the updates because a job you have to chase is a job you still own. And the review round comes before delivery because “done” means you are happy, not that we stopped working.
What can go in the first message
- A sentence about the problem — jargon optional.
- A date, if there is one. “Before the conference” counts.
- A link to anything relevant. No file uploads needed yet.
